REVIEWS:
"If you've ever wondered what the hell those strange and bizarre sounds out of Space Station Russ were, then here's your chance to really find out,'cause this is what American Psy Trance is all about. All songs have been channeled here in the US and are previously unreleased. Artists include local trance facillitators Ceiba and Kode IV as well as Solar Communication and UV13. Thick and rich with multilayered, mindnumbing hypnotic sounds will definitely get you where you need to go. My choice cuts are Ceiba's down-tempo "rainbow warrior" with kettle drums, rattles and a guest appearance by Jim Morrison, and "1+1=1", a track which is just so fucking brilliant, intense and wonderful, that I give it my High-est regards. What else can I say but- get this CD NOW !!!" XLR8R Magazine, San Francisco

"The psychedelic trance movement is growing rapidly and finding a place in all global dance cultures. Pioneering the West Coast into the fast and progressive sounds of psychedelic trance are the founders of Ceiba Records (also the bands Ceiba and Kode IV) Adam Ohana and Peter Ziegelmeier. They have begun the first record distributership on the West Coast ( possibly even in the entire U.S.) to specialize solely in psychedelic trance, also known as Goa trance. This CD, from their newly founded label, defines psychedelic trance perfectly. The music, packaging and message are all solid and inspired, and when you pick it up, you know you are getting more than just a CD of great music. The artwork (all hand-drawn), the quote on the back- all show you that you are in for a truly psychedelic and uplifting experience when you listen to this CD. The music is, of course, incredible and lives up to its packaging. Deep and powerful beats drive you through the ever changing melodies and digital sea of noises that are swirled together, creating and intense mindtrip and a terrific dance experience (if you can keep up with it!) There are four Ceiba tracks all of which are unique and totally creative. The Kode IV ( Ceiba's collaboration with Goa Gil) song "Firestarter" is a Ceiba remix as well and is the hardest and most banging track on the CD. Goa Gil collaborates again in a group called The Nommos and produces a crazy song full of changes in speed, that finally ends somewhere close to light speed. LA local Ido Liran teams up worth Moontribe DJ's Daniel and Trevor ( aka Solar Communications) to add in some of the Los Angeles psychedelia. There song is an awesome trance stormer with crazy acid builds and intricate melodies, adding some of the Los Angeles desert experience to the CD. Inside the Cd lies the best part of the entire package:An extremely intricate painting of what looks like ancient Mayan or Aztec art is included for a full sensory stimulating experience.I hope that this compilation is only the beginning for this extremely creative and inspired group and it is definitely something to seek out and support."
